I have started to share my stitching process on You Tube. I am thinking in terms of making slower chatty videos where I imagine people will be stitching a little with half an eye on what I am doing. I know I do a lot of stitching in front of various youtubers. So, I imagine many fellow stitchers do the same. I also listen to podcasts and audio books but lately watching other stitchers do their stuff has become a favourite thing to do. So I thought I would share my stitching process and progress.
I am calling this series “Have a Cuppa” So far I have two videos are published here is the first – short and sweet at 4 and half minutes sharing a tip on how to start a design.
The second Have a cuppa video is a little longer at 8 minutes sharing tips on appliqué circles.
I hope you enjoy them – let me know what you would like to see more of.

Thank you for the great videos. Nice and short, but very informative. Totally agree with you about the stitches. Plus your book is great! And TAST as well. I would just be happy to see more of your processes.
Cheers and thanks!
thanks Julie – I am pleased you find them useful
Watched your YouTube video – very useful. Please keep with the design, hint idea. Totally correct in thought about lots of stitch demos already out there. Perhaps the comment may have been directed at how you choose stitches that support the design concept chosen.
Yes Robby good point and I had planned to talk about why a stitch is chosen rather than how to do the stitch
I really enjoyed your design videos, and I agree that there are already so many videos showing the stitches that showing design tips is more helpful. Thanks for the videos!
Thanks Tina I am pleased you like the design tips
