The Detail:
Once a good few years ago now someone said that ric-rac looked cheap in crazy quilting. Ever since I have used ric-rac in my crazy quilting. I have lots of fun with it as there are all sorts of ways to decorate it further with stitches.
This seam was first covered by with Ric-rac, then I emphasised the movement with straight stitches and French knots using perle 8 thread. I also added some seed beads.
