Seam decoration on crazy quilt block
This is part of crazy quilt block 50. This seam started with a line of feather stitch worked using a hand dyed silk thread. Then I return to add cast-on flowers using the same thread. I then added a seed bead to the middle of each flower.

I've become so hooked on making crazy quilt squares. Just started my 4th quilt. My family and friends see what I've done and want one. I've used bunches of your "dropped the button box" templates. Followed your stitch dictionary. This week at quilting I showed one of the ladies my Oyster stitches. It took me so long to master this stitch. She said she has been embroidering since she was 7 and thought she had known all the stitches there were. I hung my first crazy quilt in a show and people just raved about the laces and buttons. They wanted to know all the different stitches. Hope I've gushed enough about my love of Pintangle.
