  1. I live in Trichy, a town in Tamil Nadu, South India.
    Sashiko quilting looks similar to Kantha work Of West Bengal. Kantha Work consists of only the running stitch. Traditional Kantha is basically a quilting technique used for recycling old Saree (a 5 – meter material we women drape ourselves in) or dothi a 2-meter material men use to cover the lower half of the body like Gandhi). Modern applications however are wide and varied.
