I was browsing what titles have been added in September to the Digital Archive of documents. Half way down the page the September 1919 issue of Needlecraft Magazine are available in two PDF files
Also available in three parts is a correspondence course written in 1952 by Baumann and Heary on Textile Dyeing, and titles on fabric care and testing.
sorry to keep posting… it really does have to be opened in Acrobat. I normally open pdf docs in Preview, and so only saw a blank doc. anyway, it’s lovely! I think I have two issues of the same magazine, so will check when I get home. Maybe I can scan them & put them online too.
hmm… well, I guess I will just have to try again! I couldn’t imagine that you would point us to a blank doc. Maybe I was just too impatient…
thanks!
Edie – I downloaded them without any trouble as I always read what ever it is before I point people to them.
You need Acrobat reader installed – which is free to download.
They have information on the site the url is http://www.cs.arizona.edu/patterns/weaving/pdf.html
hope this helps
has anyone else downloaded the PDF files? I tried, but the pages were blank.
