This seam embellishment can easily be used along the side of lace but in this case it is worked to the side of braid.
In DMC Pearl 8 I worked three Bullion stitches. Around these in the same thread I stitched a detached chain which was tied down with a small Oyster stitch.
A small bead was then stitched at the at the base. On the other side of the braid three straight stitches are worked in the same thread.
