Today I am featuring another simple seam embellishment for crazy quilting.
In DMC Pearl 5 I worked two rows of Chevron stitch back to back.
Next I added an arrangement of straight stitches and detached chain stitches with a seed bead stitched at the base of the arrangement in the V area of the chevron stitches.
The little flowers look like beads but they are tiny buttons. They are a little surprise for anyone who looks close enough at the block.
This weeks round up indicates that although the weather has been hot in the Northern Hemisphere people are still stitching

Chevron stitch is just about my favorite base stitch…I really use it a lot in CQ Seam combinations.
Sharon, have you thought about setting up a flickr group for this? Or just for stitch combos in general? I was actually looking around Flickr and couldn’t find it…or do you know of another one?
I love your 100 details in 100 days. I am just now sewing on a block in a crazy RR I started this spring. And I have found a lot of very good ideas on your site. And I have recomended it to all the other members on my RR. I have got a pre wiew on my two hearts in the RR and I am very pleased with them. Can’t wait to get them back.
