Smockery

Kay Susan left a comment yesterday which led me to investigate her young blog Smockery. Kay Susan lives in Britian and has taken the City & Guilds Creative Embroidery course. Topics in this blog range from both machine and hand embroidery, quilting and soft toy/doll making as Kay Susan is participating in the “Month of Softies” challenge. I have added this blog to my already too long side bar as there is some interesting textile work employing a number of techniques although I wonder as I am suspicious of anyone with such a clean workspace. 🙂

Kay Susan has recently posted details of an article she has found which is about Chicken Scratch .

  1. Sharon, its clean because I just got a new sewing machine ……………..whoopee! I got so excited
while I was waiting for it to arrive at the dealer that I cleaned the room ready for it. Then it looked so strange and unfamiliar that I photographed it for posterity! Still, I’m so glad someone is interested in my
    work.
