Very few design and art museums recognise the artistic achievements of illustrators of children’s literature. The National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature aims to counter that. A permanent collection is maintained.
I am always interested in why someone chose to make art as their career and how they did it so I particularly enjoyed reading about the illustrators featured.
