Today there is two seam details in one image. The first is a line of beads which are alternated with straight stitches that are topped off with a French knot. The seam embellishment is worked over some lace (you can just see it)
Diagonally across the block runs a satin ribbon couched down with Herringbone worked in thread the same weight as DMC pearl 8 which is tied with small straight stitches.
On one side I worked straight stiches and detached chain stitch worked in a thread the same weight as DMC pearl 8. These were topped off with caston stitch worked in thread the same weight as pearl 12. A seed bead was stitched in the middle of each round.
