For the Love of Stitching Sampler – Band 30

This is a small cluster of bands worked together so closely that really they create a block. They are all basic stitches. The first row is band illustrates  threaded running stitch, which is followed by an example of  running stitch,

The third line is  closed feather stitch, and the last line of stitching is whipped chain stitch.

All stitches in this section of the band sampler are worked in hand dyed cotton.

This section of the sampler is worked on tea towel linen which is not quite an even weave.
