Stitches:
Stitches used here are fly stitch, French knot, and Oyster stitch.
Thread:
A hand dyed silk which is about the same weight and thickness and perle 8 purchased in bulk from a weavers supplier and hand dyed by me.
Placement and Foundation Fabric:
This lace covers a seam which is between piece 6 and pieces 1, 2, and 5. The foundation fabric and piece diagram used have been discussed when I introduced block 2.
Type of lace:
The lace is a nylon lace which I dyed.
Dyes
Procion cold water dyes for the silk threads. Disperse dyes (also known as transfer dyes) on the synthetic lace
