Stitches:
This seam is embellished with 3 buttons that sit on half buttonhole wheels , between them are two pistol stitches which have a seed bead at the base.
Threads:
The Buttonhole wheels are worked in hand dyed silk and pistol stitches are hand dyed cotton.
Placement and Foundation Fabric:
This seam is between piece 5 and piece 6 on the diagram I used when I introduced block 5 In the same article I also talked about the foundation fabrics I used.
