Stitches:
This seam is created with a foundation row of Cretan stitch. Between the V shapes are two chain stitches with a fly stitch at the base. On each of the Cretan stitch arms is a small bead.

Placement and Foundation Fabric:
This seam is between piece 1 and 2 and piece 5 on the diagram used when I introduced block 5 In the same article I also talked about the foundation fabrics I used.
