The Detail:
This detail on block 20, is a series of fly stitches that run along the edge of a braid that runs along the edge piece 5 on the block.
As I explained when I introduced the block it has a theatre theme because when Eve was very active in the theatre both front of house and back stage.

I really like this use of the fly stitch. i shy away from braided embellishments because I usually don’t know what to do with them. Thank you so much for sharing this idea!
