Detail:

Along the edge of this seam I worked a row of buttonhole then topped it with oyster stitch 

Thread:

The buttonhole is worked in rayon ribbon floss and the Oyster stitch is worked in silk

Dyes:

Procion dyes was used to dye the silk thread used in the oyster stitch

Placement on block: 

This seam runs along the edge of  piece 6. The block diagram was published when I introduced block 27

What is the story?
