I was experimenting with varieties of chain stitch combining twisted chain and oyster stitch
Threads:
Hand dyed silk thread.
Fabric:
Hand dyed cotton aida
Size:
The For Love of Stitching Band Sampler is 15 cm (6 inches) wide. It consists of different strips of fabric which are are stitched together to form one long strip. It currently measures 24.8 yards or 22.75 metres long and I have more bands to add.

Sharon, I just wanted to thank you for all of the personal attention, education, and encuragement you provided to each of us in your online Sumptuous Surface Embroidery class as we near the end. I don't look at images the same. I never thought i would be able to design my own embroidery!!!! I look forward to taking your online Encrusted Crazy Quilting class in October.
