The Antique Pattern Library announced the availability of another free ebook. This publication is listed as Album d’Alphabets et de Monogrammes No.2. It is a 101 page collection of Monogram designs. The scans are clear and well produced.
As time goes on and the more I work my long band sampler the more I like to include lettering so I am becoming more interested in monograms and lettering. I find I have quite a collection and this book of designs will only add to it!
As usual the best way to highlight the value of this free ebook is share some page spreads.
These monograms for hand embroidery are all from a free ebook Album d’Alphabets et de Monogrammes No.2.
The book contains 63 Alphabets.
Some a very traditional while others have a modern Art Deco style.
Most of the alphabets are for surface embroidery but there are also patterns for people who do cross stitch too!
An overview of each page is here and the PDF file is available here
