I want to thank you for sharing with us all of your talented work. I have been collecting many fabrics, threads and doo dads for my first crazy quilt. I am very excited but can’t decide if I want a square block or hexagon. With you posting this hexi pattern I think I’ll go with it. I’m hoping to use a quilt as you go finish because I can’t imagine how one would quilt this.

The quilt as you go technique is the easiest. Traditionally crazy quilts were not quilted but tied. This is a series of articles on how I ‘quilted’ my diamond block quilt https://pintangle.com/2009/08/25/work-in-progress-wednesday-assembling-the-diamond-crazy-quilt-part-1/
hope it helps
