Just a quick heads up for those who are interested, I have launched Sharon’s Sketchy Stuff as a site about contemporary journaling, sketch-booking and Urban sketching. The idea is that it is a place where I can be creative, share techniques, and perhaps help others develop their creative skills too. So if you are interested in that topic you may wish to visit and subscribe as I will be sharing stories and sketches of my travels over there.

I am interested. My main interest is Slow Stitching, and coming up with ideas to design and keep creating new
and old pieces. And of course embroidery.
I keep a daily journal because I was widowed 9 years ago and a year later moved halfway across the United States. As an eldery woman it is difficult to make new friends, and since I moved to a politically different region of the country, I find I have made few friends. My daily journal is my companion; I write about things happening in my life, loneliness, ideas for creativity, whatever is on my mind for the day. I journal first thing in the morning, but have found if something happens that I have difficulty dealing with, I might write more later in the day.
My journal is my best friend now. Thanks for your new website I look forward to seeing more of your posts.
Suzi thanks for you comment. Journalling is good for mental health. It can not only get you over a hump it can be great fun to explore your creative life too
Thank you : I wish you well with good communications on the new website.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I enjoy TAST so much!
Looking forward to this one!
This sounds so exciting – both the writing and the sketching.
So glad to read about this new site. I am one of those people who would be hauling my sketchbooks to safety in a fire rather than gathering up important papers, deeds, birth certificates, the family silver, etc. Seeing how others work in their sketchbooks and studio journals is always inspiring!
wow. quite the website! It’s already so useful and informative; thank you for sharing it!
Congratulations
Congratulations Sharon! Well done
I will visit you for sure!
Have a great Monday!
Sid
