This seam is embellished with a line of detached chain stitch and straight stitches on both the seam and the lace.
Thread:
Hand dyed perle #8 thread.
Placement and Foundation Fabric:
This seam runs along the edge of piece 6 on the diagram in the post written to introduce block 7 In the same article I also talked about the foundation fabrics I used.
Lace:
The lace is hand dyed
Dyes:
Procion cold water dyes for both the lace and thread
Beads:
Small pearl beads were used to embellish the lace.
