For the Love of Stitching Sampler – Band 373

These bands on section 27 of the For the Love of Stitching band sampler are worked so close together that I will cover them all in one. They are all part of chain stitch family

Row 1 is  a form of triple chain

Row 2 is another form of triple chain which is called waved chain

Row 3 is slipped detached chain worked in a line.

Row 4 is zig zag chain stitch

Thread:

The row is worked in DMC cotton perle #5 and perle #8 which was hand dyed by me.

27cnt quaker cloth

This section of the sampler was completed in January  2008.

Size:

The For Love of Stitching Band Sampler is 15 cm (6 inches) wide. It consists of different strips of fabric which are are stitched together to form one long strip. It currently measures 24.8 yards or 22.75 metres long and I have more bands to add.
