The Victorian and Albert Museum has published some Designs & Illustrations by Florence Caulfield. These patterns are released free to embroiderers to print out, transfer to cloth and use. If you click on any of the images you can view a larger version.
I must admit my connection has been running hot, as all these designs are really very attractive and could be easily adapted to contemporary embroidery.
