This area on section 50 on my Love of Stitching Band Sampler is where I experimented with a popular pulled thread embroidery stitch. This is wave stitch but I did not pull it too hard (so I am not sure that means it is still a pulled thread stitch). I interspersed it with seed beads. The linen is 25 cnt and the thread is a hand dyed silk that has the same thickness as cotton perle #8.
The next detail records a trip to Sydney as we took a little holiday.
