The Tree Project was conceived and run by the International Fiber Collaborative
Titled Interdependence the tree covered in leaves made of fiber was on display during April. Participants were invited to create a leaf and contribute it to the tree. leaves cam from all over the globe.
I was interested at how the work was documented. Leaves were photographed and are online beside artist or group details. Often these community projects do not document everyones contribution well. The organisers and sponsors get to shine but the people who contributed become a mass of anonymous craft workers. So it is nice to see the web being used to credit everyone involved in this community arts project.
