Apart from the release of the Module 7 worksheets (see my previous post) there is not a lot to report from me for Work in Progress Wednesday. However there were a good few useful comments left last week after I wrote out my Tips for managing large projects. You might want to make a cup and browse them.
Also I do have my June block made for the Crazy Quilt Journal Project. It looks a bit too blue as I wanted a more grey and wintery feel but I will work with what I have. So it is out with beads and threads and  hopefully I will have it embroidered by next week as the end of the month is fast approaching. It is only an 8 inch block but still that is a bit of an optimistic goal but wish me luck!

I didn’t get much done this week. The heat has been unbearable here. I did decide which block I would be working on next if you want to take a look. Hopefully I will have something done next week.

This is going to be another pretty block. For me WIPW is bringing me into the rhythm of quilting again, I start enjoying it! I wrote about my progress here:

I have many, many WIPs of both the sane and crazy type. In regard to embroidery – I made a little progress last weekend on a couple of my Midnight Fantasy Garden blocks:

I also finished my July block for my CQJP 2012 “Crazy Basket Case” lap quilt.

I’ll be working a lot of overtime hours July and Aug but still hope I can continue to embroider a little on weekends.
I really enjoyed your “Tips for working on a large project” and applied it to my non-stitching home renovation project. Rather then renovating the entire room, I fixed the damaged part only. I finished it in a few hours, rather then the days.
I have decided to join you on your Work in Progress Wednesday reports. I am actually working on my Sumptuous Surfaces 2nd project, but having a bit of trouble with my second border, which I am removing today.

Hi Sharon I like the colours in your block. I can’t wait to see the embroidery you will add. Your finished blocks are always amazing.
I have had a really good week of stitching completing several short projects and moving my WISP forward. Do come by to visit.

Even though it is still Tuesday here, I have progress to post. Here is a link to my next block for my “champagne on a beer budget” quilt, I call it champagne for short.
