Work in Progress Wednesday Block 41 started

Start of Block 41I have started the next crazy quilt block in the Lace quilt and thought I would share it with my readers. Hopefully next week I will be able to share completed block.

If you have made progress on a stitching project leave a comment with a link to your site. If you include the http bit of your web address in the comment it will become a link and folks can visit and see what you have done.

Work in Progress Wednesdays (WIP Wednesdays)  is not exactly a challenge as it is more like a support group! The aim is to encourage people to complete  languishing projects or WISPs (Works in Slow Progress) or completing UFOs (unfinished objects) or those in the process of de-stashing.

The idea is, that if you regularly report publicly on a project you are more likely to pick it up and work it a little. Even if it means the project is out and ‘looking at you’ for most stitchers it means they will work it a little. So if you have something you want to share please do!

It suddenly flashed through my mind that reporting in is also a Weight Watcher technique and is very effective. I think I will do my homework for my needlepoint class now. Blessings, Charlotte

  3. My work is certainly a WISP (work-in-slow-progress), but I have finished my third house http://borduurblog.blogspot.nl/2014/03/wipw_19.html and want to encourage anyone who has a “slow” project to do a little bit each week!

I love the blue lace and trims on this block! My fave is the semi-circular trim. Hope to see the finished block 🙂
Have managed to push on with the ‘Falling Leaves’ panel. Completed the 3rd and have progressed with the reverse applique one, so wearing my Happy face 🙂

Linking up to WIP Wednesday. Thanks for hosting this Sharon, it really is encouraging me to get on with my white quilt. I may not be racing along, but at least I’m not standing still!
