Today I am featuring a simple seam embellishment. As you can see straight stitches have been arranged at along the edge of some lace that covers the seam. In hand dyed thread that is the same weight as DMC pearl 8, I added French knots arranged in a bunch. Two detached chain stitches were added either side of the straight stitches. In the same thread that I used for the French knots I stitched a small straight stitch in the middle of each chain stitch.
