Free Brazilian Embroidery patterns

I was poking around the BDEIG (Brazilian Dimensional Embroidery International Guild, Inc.) site and discovered some great free beginner projects.

Each Project is delivered via a PDF file which means you need Acrobat Reader to open these files. You can download a free reader on the Acrobat site.

These free projects cover everything you need, a list of threads, a stitch diagram, details on how to work the pattern and hints on getting the best results. I particularly liked Cate Grundy’s Autumn Bouquet Pictured in the screen shot While checking out their free designs do explore the BDEIG site a little further as it houses useful information about Brazilian Dimensional Embroidery, such as Guild activities and seminars, basic stitches, information about supplies and threads.
