This CQ detail is actually a way to decorate a block with a button. I have used the button to represent a flower. The stem is created using stem stitch and the leaves are a silk ribbon embroidery leaf stitch.
Thread:
The stem is hand dyed perle thread #5, and the leaves are 4mm silk ribbon
Dyes:
Procion cold water dye for the perle cotton
Button:
This is a vintage button which I received in swap
What is the story?
