Seam decoration on crazy quilt block:

This seam decoration on block 47 of the I Dropped the Button Box crazy quilt is actually 2 seams. The first is a line of buttonhole worked in Rayon ribbon floss. I added a bead to every second spine. The other spines I added a little flower motif consisting of detached chain stitch, straight stitch and French knots. They are worked in a hand dyed silk thread about the same weight and thickness as perle 8.

In the same hand dyed silk  thread I work a line of chevron stitches. It’s a small seam about an inch long so I did not embellish it further.
