This week I have for you a free hand embroidery pattern that could be worked in outline stitches using back stitch, threaded back stitch, chain, whipped chain, stem stitch or whipped stem stitch.
Once again it would be nice as a biscornu pattern.
Click on the thumbnail as it will take you to a larger version of the image.
If you need to know how I would transfer this pattern to fabric, I have a tutorial on how to transfer embroidery designs to fabric which may help.
All posts in the series are in the Friday Freebie category
These designs are for non commercial use and I ask you to attribute the work to me, with link back to this blog. You may not republish them in print or online.
Thank you for all of these wonderful patterns – I’m busy saving them with the aim of maybe doing a redwork/patchwork quilt – do you think that would work?
Hi Rachel I initially started designing these thinking I would use them as a series of 3-4 cushions with a matching lap quilt. So Yes I think they would work very well!
Reminds me of a snowflake – this would be so pretty as an ornament.
