Description

The Stitchers Templates have proven so popular I decided to design a third set – Stitchers Templates Set 3 – for hand embroiderers and Crazy Quilters. What’s different? These templates are designed especially with floral designs in mind. You can create hundreds of floral designs using these petal, leaf, and stem shapes to embroider or use on your crazy quilting projects. There is a rotation point for the leaf and petal shapes to help you arrange them in a circle. Stitchers Templates Set 3 has four templates in the set. They are easy to use, and totally see-through to help you position them on your work. What’s more, they are nice and compact to fit in your sewing box.

Here is a video showing how to use them

For more creative ideas, I wrote an ebook to spark your imagination. I drafted out lots of patterns using the templates. The ebook is specific to the particular template set. You will receive the link to your ebook in your invoice email when you purchase the templates. [Please note: If you do not see the email with the invoice, please check your Spam directory in case it has gone there].

Delivery time: All our products are made in, and shipped from Australia. Consequently, please allow 3-6 weeks for delivery.

This set 3 is designed around a floral theme. So it works at any time of year, but especially for Spring and Summer-themed embroidery. The fun with this set is that you can combine petal and leaf shapes with the curved edges of the templates to create all sorts of floral and organic motifs. You can combine these in different ways to create hundreds of unique patterns to embroider. It is the ultimate mix-and-match fun for stitchers. My aim is to make it fun to explore designing your own motifs in a non-threatening way. It helps non-designers become designers.
embroidery and templates in a basket
I designed this four-piece set with hand embroidery in mind. As with my other templates, they are transparent so you can position them in place before you trace the design on your fabric. They are easy to use and will stimulate your creativity. They are the same size as my other templates, so they fit easily into your workbox. They are not huge, awkward things that mean you store them elsewhere. I find if I have something new to use, it is easy to play with it for a bit, but then if I put it away, I can easily forget about it. But if I have that new thing always to hand in my sewing box, I find I use it and incorporate it into my process. It becomes natural and unforced. So these fit in your workbox, and because they are sitting there looking at you hopefully, you are more likely to pick them up and use them.

Using them is easy. Build floral wreaths, flowing sprays, motifs for corners, or simple little bunches of flowers. Just position the template in place and, holding it firmly with one hand so that it does not shift, use a quilter’s pencil, air disappearing, or water dissolvable pens to mark the shape. Build up these shapes into floral motifs. I have a video that demonstrates how to use them.

Also, the set comes with a free e-book with instructions and is filled with patterns and designs that you can create. These designs are only the start of what is possible. The ebook will give you ideas, and once you start playing with these, I am sure you will think of many more designs! Here is a sneak peek inside the ebook.

I am excited about this set, and of course, they can be combined with my other templates. They are available now in the shop here Enjoy your stitching!

I just purchased set 3 of your templates and I was wondering how I can get the booklet for it. I have it for the first two sets of templates, but I didn’t get a web site this time to print off set 3.

Hi Mary I sent you an email about this as I traced your order back. But just incase my emails are going to the spam I thought I would respond here too! The links to the pdf files were sent when the order was acknowledged on the day of purchase. This is automatically generated by the ecommerce software. The first might have gone to your spam so you missed it. I have just regenerated the invoice. If it does not arrive to your inbox check your spam folder. If for some reason it still does not work contact me via the contact tab – I have a hunch my communication is going to your spam.
