As promised here is the progress made on my latest 8 inch block. The photo was taken last night literally mid seam as I realized if I was not careful I would forget to document what I was doing and therefore not blog it! When I step into my work room it is like stepping into another world. Put simply I forget to do it. I have taken to keeping my digital camera next to my sewing supplies.
Stitches used so far on this block are chain stitch, buttonhole wheels, detached chain, French knots and feather stitch. Directions for these stitches can found in my Stitch Dictionary Some silk ribbon roses have been added to the feather stitch.
More progress posted soon!
I particularly like using the silk ribbon roses in conjunction with the feather stitches.
