There is still a bit of bookmark clean out going on here. Yesterday I rediscovered the site of the International Free Form Crochet Guild has a email discussion group which encourages skill development in free form crochet.
This site also hosts a showcase gallery of designs including works by Margaret Hubert and Prudence Mapstone (who I happen to be a big fan of). The guild also publishes a list of links to members sites which is revealing a treasure trove of free form crochet items.
