I thought this gift box made by recycling a cereal carton was really neat and adapted the pattern to the gift box above.
I also covered it with a fiber etched fabric which is a purplish blue with a gold shot weave in it that can not really be seen well in the photograph. I used a double sided iron on interfacing to bond the fabric to card. I was quite happy with the results and yes I have started to wrap Christmas presents.
Marty of Textiles in Time has an interesting response to my post last Sunday. Do swing by and check it out as this topic is something worth thinking about for a few moments at least. I think people are looking forward to next year and thinking about how they want to orientate their energies and set goals. There has also been quite a few comments about keeping visual journals. I am working on huge link round up of instructional material and eye candy which will hopefully be useful for anyone thinking about keeping one. Hopefully I will have done by tomorrow. So stay tuned!
