The buttons are stitched on with black coton a broder
Placement:
On block 1 the buttons break the seam between piece 6 and pieces 1, 3 and 5
Type of lace, braid or trim
A black lace motif cut from nylon lace sits under the buttons. A fine thin silver and black braid runs along the seam under the buttons.
Buttons and charms
The bee is actually a button. The heart is a a glass charm. There is a mix of modern and vintage buttons.
Beads
Some large beads are also sprinkled in between the buttons
