A pinkeep that imitates a letter

The for runner to the contemporary ‘stitch n’ bitch’ evenings can be found in Victorian times when women formed needle clubs or pin clubs. They did exactly what we do today get together, stitch and of course form friendships.

This Pinkeep was possibly given as Christmas gift in 1894. Take a look as I immediately saw it as a possible fore runner to the practice of swapping ATC’s (Artists Trading Cards) and fiber postcards. It looks just like a letter only in fabric.
