People can never learn too much about colour and what fascinates me is that it is an area that is always an interesting part of the process. There is always interesting discoveries to made and intriguing contrasts to develop. It’s a constant challenge.
I discovered Colour in Needlework by Lucy Lyons Willis of La Chatelaine Designs. As a brief primer article which covers some of the basics of colour theory its an ideal to print out and pasted into the back of a visual journal as a reminder when thinking about colour applied to many techniques used in textiles.
